And Then, Wrong Way Round...

Thus the dawn of a new week and we all wait, with ever diminishing excitement, for Thursday and the latest financial announcement. I feel quietly confident, as typed before, that Jeremy will Punt us yet further up an unsavoury creek and abandon us up there taking all the available paddles away with him.
Never mind; one of the guys responsible for digging the hole we find ourselves in is earning big Bucks on some TV show. Wot’s it called? I’m a nonentity; leave me here?
Anyhoo, I may be dumber un a brick with a grasp of maths that goes little further than the fingers of two hands, but how taking ever more money off us down here is going to help us down here with the cost of living ‘crisis’ somewhat confuses me.
On reflection, given the eyewatering, as Jerry would term it, amounts of our money Risky Stitch-up is giving away, such as overseas aid, reparations for being the birth place of the industrial revolution, battling the climate, clean energy initiatives{?}, laundering via the Ukrankies, a roof, three hots, a cot and spending money to all those gimmigrants and the huge bill here at home giving benefits and all manor of other free stuff to those in need{?}, a figure increasing yearly with droves of our newest bestest ever friends popping in, I’d humbly suggest that, rather than a cost of living crises, we actually have a cost of giving crises.
Below, just in case you haven’t already seen it. Another fellow who needs to take extra care when crossing the road...
