Well, so, did wot Richy Sadsack say today fill you with hope and joy? Funnily enough I got mail this morning saying I was paying too much for our gas and leccy. How cool is that then? Cool being the operative word…
I suppose the TV ‘news’ cycles crying about and interviewing suitably robust lipped ladies clutching four kids and a smart phone regards how they’re being driven ever further into poverty makes a welcome{?} change from their interviews with similarly sad young ladies, clutching crying babies and phones, hoping to be driven to some sort of safety in some mythical land of freedom.
One thing missing from any and all interviews conducted by those that pass as journalists, when they have a member of parliament in front of them, is to ask how they themselves are planning to cope with super high inflation having only being awarded a derisory two thousand two hundred some pounds a year rise from this April.
Thinking of how those poor folk will get by tugs at the old heart strings does it not?
Is there a charity to which I can donate generously that helps members of ‘our’ government during such desperate times?
You know wot? Let’s just break ‘em up instead...
