And Then Another Hiccup…

Yup, another unexpected problem with my yearly planning. And that would be? And that would be an important letter wot seems to be lost in space.
It was posted Sunday gone with collection marked on the letterbox as Monday early morning. Stamped first class. To be fair to Royal Mail, it has a huge journey of about fifty bloody miles to make.
Wot to do? Working on it and up to now, all to no avail... Does anything work as it used to work any more? Seems not.

“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives, and even when it does it can be lost so easily.”

Apollo 11 took less time than that to get to the moon, although they didn't use Royal Mail so it's not a fair comparison. Also, Apollo 11 was in the olden days when people weren't so busy with important things like diversity and pronouns.

A K Haart,
Interesting point. Sadly, Apollo wasn’t on the choice list.
Happily I can report delivery success as the snail finally found the delivery address.
So first class is the way to go. Who knows when second class would’ve got there eh?
