And Then, Enough…

I’m guessing that, like me, you’ve had all the hysterical ‘news’ regards bullying in high places that you can reasonably be expected to take.
Remember bullying at school? It usually centred round school lunch break and the bully demanding your pudding or he’d punch you in the puss. If a teacher got wind of this behaviour, they’d take the bullied kid to one side and tell ‘em to man-up and fight back. End of.
Now? Up there? Form a committee to conduct a three year ‘investigation’. No idea who’ll be paying for this…
One also wonders at the form this bullying took and I’m willing to bet, given ladies have won equality in the work place, it goes something like this:
Some male boss enquiring of a lady if that job he asked her to get done three weeks ago had been completed and if not, why not. The lady had then replied that she felt she couldn’t do said job because of reasons to which the boss had responded by telling the lady to just get it done as instructed or he’d find someone that would get the job done.
And that, in our new weird world, would be classed as  inappropriate and unpardonable bullying in the workplace I guess.

Quote;  Fred Allen.

“A committee is a group of people who individually can do nothing, but who, as a group, can meet and decide that nothing can be done.”
