And Then, A Whole New Meaning...

Interesting news yesterday that the Defence Secretary, while making a statement in Parliament, was interrupted by Siri talking from his phone.  That would be the the countries Defence Secretary basically allowing the world to listen in and probably record his conversations regarding the defence of the realm. Yet further proof that those ‘in charge’ are dumber than a sack o’ hammers. Then I watched PM’s questions today and again noted how poorly we’re represented.

So, taking in the phone faux pas of yesterday, consider this. Why don’t all those PM’s who crowd into the house for PMQ’s just walk in at a leisurely pace, turn their phones on, activate Siri, put the phone on a bench then head to the playground or their safe spaces and leave Siri to sort it all out amongst herself? Who knows, it may work. It sure couldn’t be any worse than wot we’ve got.

If it did indeed work, some time in the not too distant future we may tune in on TV just to watch six hundred odd tin cans discussing the ills of the land with the odd goofy answer resulting in the little guy in the big seat intervening and actually ‘kicking a can down the road’.

One thing that’d need clearing up before we went full frontal can, and I’m not sure about this at the moment; is Siri of the right? Is Alexa left leaning? Which can holds centric views? Who would know? Oh, wait a minute!  “Hay, tin can...”
