And Then A Train...

I watched a movie the other evening and found I’d been infected by an ear worm courtesy of the title music . Now, later, I’m still not sure if I like it or not. Whatever, I believe you’ll find it’s infectious from either a like or hate angle.

Actually, watching again, it sure cheers me up and detracts from the misery being inflicted on me by the media at the moment.

Chaiyya Chaiyya is wot I’m talkin’ about, but you knew that, and below it will be found. love it or hate it, if that vid was truly shot a’top a train, one has to wonder how many tightly typed pages the risk assessment ran to. Way back in the day, I infrequently had the need to ride the trains ‘over there’ and there were times when it could get spookily close to being just like that video. Happy daze y’all.

  1. I will hazard a guess that the movie you watched was Inside Man?

I always watch out for the Barrocca advert, the one with Roccy the chameleon. The music to that is another ear worm and is by Punjab MC, called 'Mundian To Bach Ke'. Its got an absolutely perfect bass which I'm addicted to, and if you listen to the bass line closely you will find that its a sample from the Night Rider theme. The music is also the soundtrack to the film 'The Dictator'.

  2. Ripper,
    Yup, Inside Man.
When I was a pup there used to be a program on the radio, Sunday morning, for our new friends from India and some of the music was really good.
Off to check-out your link. Many thanks.
